It looks as if it was repainted.
If it was the original paint, the price would ok considering the matching lens is missing.

Y is it in Ebay, that's what tickles me... it should be auctioned by men/women with bow-ties...

But I think it was restored or in other ways tempered with. As far as I know, the lens release-button should be black paint too. And the original MP should not have had round strap lugs, but buddha ears.

I just don't get why anyone would even want it! Yes it's a nice looker but no one is seriously going to use it. I'd rather have an MP3, but even they are too expensive IMHO for what they are. I'd rather have an M2,3 or 4 painted up in black and use it without regard to it getting scratched and scathed from normal use.

It looks too good to be be real - no brassing at all (except one strap lug). How can that be on a real MP?
