Been shooting mainly B&W for the last 2 years just tried color again with my new to me RD1. Great to do this after not using digicam for some time. RD1 VC 28 2.0:

I find that I love the black and white shots I get from my rd1 so much that I rarely use it for color. Great camera, enjoy. I have been lusting after a hex 50 though.

Thanks Joe! Locking the AE is a bit of pain though as I would more often get a shot before I can lock. The shutter trigger is quite light to the touch.
Daniel, I would also shoot a lot of B&W with this I'm sure. Anyway all my jpegs are in B&W and can always convert the raw to B&W later.
I downloaded photoRaw software and it's kinda quirky. I can do some minor edits but still can't see how I can convert to .dng and edit in PS. I used the pse8 trial version and yes it can open in both raw and jpeg.

there is a download on adobe for the dng, actually it was in a post yesterday iirc.
in pse6 you have to change from 16 bit to 8 to access some of the features.

Yes I saw that and downloaded the Adobe .dng. I tried once to do it but can't figure our yet. I'll give it a try again.
