RE: Canon 28mm F2.8 LTM

I recently purchased a lovely example of this lens; it sits on my M8. Whilst I am aware that this is supposed to be the lens used by Winogrand I can't find much more information.

Can anyone offer some more information on the lens, or point me in the right direction
