Re-focus a Summarex

Anyone know how to re-focus a Summarex?

Mine seems to be focusing 6 inches too close (i.e. RF image shows focus, but actual focus point is 6 inches closer than the RF setting).

Dumb question, does the lens head thread out like it does on the Elmar 90mm and 135mm? Sounds like it might have been threaded in too far and as a result is sitting too close to the film plane, if that's at all possible...

No Johan, the Summarex lens head dose not thread out. It is fixed.

Lens is too long. You can grind the cam down and/or try a different LTM adapter.

That being said, I have a dedicated camera for my 75/1.4, you might want to do the same for your Summarex.

You could buy a Russian camera, fit would be perfect.

How is it at infinity? If something's wrong with the cam, it will focus considerably closer than infinity at infinity.

What aperture does this happen at? Does it happen at f/2.8?]
