We have had some discussions about repainted cameras her at RFf.
There are well done and attractive ones out there and then there are things like the "desert storm leica" which was an amazingly obnoxious repainted Zorki.
There is still a thread over at photo.net about it--just remember it is hard to look at and you may regret having seen this one!
