HI all

I tried a search and didn't find anything so hope someone can help.

I do find the lack of ISO 100 to be a tad frustrating. I like to capture motion in photographs and even at f16 it has to be pretty bad daylight to get the slow enough shutter speeds I require to capture movement.

Does anyone else feel this is an issue at all.

Yah, sure the lack of anything that limits your creative ability is frustrating. Blurry motion shots aren't my thing but limited DOF is. Both require the same thing. The answer is neutral density filters. That way you can do whatever you want, even low F# with slow shutter speeds!

ISO 100 color is still available as far as I know. I certainly still get it from the expired bin at Ritz (that may not help you in the UK). I think ISO 100 is still available also. Isn't Efke marketed in an ISO 100?

Failing all that, have you considered an ND filter?

oftheherd - I don't think you can fit film into an rd-1...

singh-ray makes a vari-ND filter. from like 2-10 stops by rotating the ring. it's crazy expensive, though, but awfully flexible.

Really? :D

I didn't realize that was what he was talking about. You are right, it could be a tad difficult. I guess he is left with ND filters as a solution.
