I recently got some old ID-11.
It looks like it's from the seventies.

The weird thing is that there three bags, their labeled A, B and C.

Is this an older formula of ID-11? and would it still be ok to use?

ID11 is a single formula (D76). The fact that the chemicals are separate helps with the shelf life, but my guess is it's probably no good. You could open it up and inspect the chemicals for discoloration, etc. There's no harm in mixing it up and giving it a try, but I wouldn't use it for anything important.

I know that the modern Ilford ID-11 (two-part A&B) has an indefinate shelf life if kept in sealed packages.

I don't remember when ID-11 was three part, but I assume it is likely still good, but might be have a difference. I do remember when HP5 did not have a + as a suffux BTW.

Ilford has a toll free hotline, so I recomend getting the facts from them directly.
