Martin, I hope you enjoy your 'love' in good health.

I don't regret it.
It became to my love,
not a Leica M8 will let the MP go.

My M5s need red dots!
Is that a Summilux 50? Just wondering... and drooling a bit too!
Congratulations!

uummm, yes, very nice looking.
some might be aware of a leica site, for those who want to see other camera portraits by their happy mp owners:

Congrats on the MP. I love my M6 but wouldn't mind trading it for a MP if that was possible...
Well, nice dream. Good thing you're living it.

Fransico, yes it is a 50/1.4. the zm 50/2 is superb also.

Tom, thanks. the site pushed me to a large extent in choosing the mp.

congrats. i love my chrome .58 MP; a classic tool that feels fine in the hand. the biggest problem for me is the developing back load; for I love to shoot my MP so much that I tend to neglect the developing/scanning of my negatives. enjoy!

now and again, i too worry about a back log of undeveloped film... but then i think about putting down good vintages of wine to age, or gary w., or some who think the latent/ambient image ages into film in some subtle or mysterious way and don't process until a year after exposure...
in the end, i'm just way behind no matter what.
