Receiving Paypal payments

I'm selling a lens and a buyer says he wants to make a paypal payment and then have someone pick it up. This seems odd to me as he says his work prevents him from having a fixed address.
This is the first time I have used Paypal. I have set up my acct, etc. Do I simply give him my Paypal address, wait for the payment and then the mystery agent to arrive to pick up the lens?
Opinions?

Nope. You need proof of delivery in order to have Paypal on your side in the case of a dispute.
This person may be 100% legit but, this scenario leaves you exposed to the possibility he/she is a crook!

Without reading over the PayPal conditions, I would expect that as a minimum you would need him to give the name of his agent, and you then have the agent sign a delivery receipt and get a copy (photograph or scan) of their government-issued ID. All that email correspondence needs to be saved.

As has been said - it may be legit and if so the buyer will do their best to prove their bona fides. Anything less than complete cooperation with any reasonable request should lead you to back out.

Update. So, I'm selling a lens but in his email he makes reference to a "camera." I respond with, which camera? He says he wants prices on all the cameras I have for sale. I have no cameras listed for sale. Suffice it to say, this is going nowhere. The name he used is Brian Morris, if that rings any bells.
