A deserted side street in Hong Kong.
Not perhaps technically new as it was taken a few years ago. But I have only recently published it on Flickr.
It depends on what new means. (I know that sounds like Bill Clinton but do not mean it to). It sat lost on my hard drive till yesterday which is when I discovered it and published it for the first time. It is new in this sense. And also new to me in the same sense. So, it's not a recent street photo. Why not post it in a more appropriate thread?

You are uncharacteristically grumpy today Mike, Who pissed in your porridge? 😆Fine, post whatever you want where ever you want. Do as you please. The definition of "recent" no longer matters; although it used to matter to me.
All the best,
Mike

Recent is subjective IMO... surely if there was a new book on recent street photography it would not have all been made this month. It depends on what new means.
