Lets pool our resources here at the forum and recommend some good labs that accept mail-in's.

Any positive or negative experiences? Want to drop a name or phone number?

This should be fun. We could use it as a reference or guide.
What do you think?

I'm about to start using AandI (www.aandi.com), a pro lab in Los Angeles. $6.50 for a 36exp roll of B&W (Xtol), same price for C-41 color. B&H in NYC sell their mailers.

I've used Kodak mailers for E6 processing. They do a great job. The only complaint is that they are very slow. Usually 1-1/2 weeks to 2 weeks. Once I take a roll, I want the results immediately.

I tried Fuji once as well. They are faster than Kodak, but they use paper mounts and the dust was driving me mad with scanning. Kodak uses plastic mounts.

Kodak mailers are $4.99 for 36 exposure (E6)
Fuji mailers are $3.99

Both are available through B&H.

I send mine to Photo-Vision in Salem, Oregon - www.photovsn.com. Decent prices - $8.00 for 36 exp. E-6 and $3.99 for it on CD (hi-res). Prints are pricey, but top-notch. Best of all is their great quality AND incredible friendly/helpful customer service. That alone keeps me going back there.

Oh, and free mailers too. :p

My vote for Black & White goes to San Miguel Photo Lab ( htt://www.bestlab.com ). Somewhat pricey and takes a while but they do everything by hand and it comes out looking wonderful. I highly recommend it for enlarements and presentation stuff.

DeJaVu! I just requested their price list and mailers, and was going to give them a try with a test batch of film. I'll report my success or failure with an update here.
