Can anyone recommend a color print film with color as saturated as Velvia? I've tried Porta (too muted), Ektar (ok, kinda), & Superia (close, kinda). Any others? Thanks for any help.

There isn't a C-41 film that is as saturated as Velvia. In fact, the only film I know of that is as saturated as Velvia is Fortia, which isn't available in North America (and, AFAIK, is no longer available even in Japan).

Ektar is the most saturated C-41 film I'm aware of, but it's not Velvia.

I'm afraid that if you want Velvia colours, you're going to have to shoot Velvia (or do some Photoshop work on Ektar).

Could try Reala, I don't think it's as saturated as Ektar, but it may have some Fujifilm style character you find appealing.

Lomography are meant to be releasing some new films today and maybe more later on, maybe they'll make something you like.

I would second that. I think Ektar is pretty much as good as it gets. I loved Fuji Reala too, but sadly now that is discontinued.

Thanks, guys! That's kind of what I figured, but hope springs eternal. I tried explaining to my wife that was a reason I should buy an M9, but that didn't fly - BIG time! Oh, well.
