Hi guys.
I am currently in the process of getting myself set up for home developing, and as part of this I should set myself up with a scanner of some description.
I'm not after anything too fancy, just something that will let scan my negatives so I can view them on my PC, post them online etc.
Now, I'm thinking flatbed is the way to go. I do not need to resolution a dedicated film scanner will give me.

My needs/desires are as follows:
Needs to be able to scan 35mm (or have an available adapter).
MF scanning would be nice, but not essential.
My budget, which is where it gets a tad tricky, is about up to £100 (I may be able to go a bit more).

So can you guys recommend me a scanner?

4490 is good.
Wasn't my first choice, but was within my budget (similar to yours).

Epson sells refurb'd units at times. I paid $75 for my 4490. Not sure if they ship outside of the US though.

I decided for the Canon 8800F.
It takes 35mm and MF, framed and unframed, works fast and the pics are ok.
Take a look at my flickR, the album "Bronica 645" is scanned with it some days ago and also some pics in the Cosina/Voigtländer-album

I've enjoyed my Epson 4490 as I did its predecessor. I find it to be particularly good with slides. It's inexpensive and easy to use. To see some of the stuff I've done with it, go to my pBase site:

You can't seem to get the Epson that cheap over here in the UK.
Whihc is a real shame because that is actually what I had hoped to go for, having used them at college.
