Recommendation Needed...

Hi Guys.

I am driving cross country in early June, and I am in the market for a wide angle lens. I am debating between the 21/4 and the 25/4. I would be shooting with an M8.

Thoughts?

21mm f/4 for me. Will be a 28 on the M8, and I doubt the 25/4 rangefinder coupled version will be available by the time you leave. Stephen has just mentioned that the 21 M version is on the way but no sign of the 25 yet. I think 28 is an ideal length for a travel lens...

I agree. Love the CV 15/4.5, which would turn into a 21 on the M8, no? For landscapes, the wider the better. Here's a seascape I took last week in Chile, albeit on film.
