Recommended m-4/3 Legacy glass?

So far, the legacy lens I've been most impressed w/ on the Oly EPL-1 has been the little Elmar 50/3.5, which makes a tiny 100. Mine is a coated version from 1947.

One "problem" with the M 4/3 is the perceived DOF appears to be larger because you may step back to take photos with 50% crop factor. Macro lenses have very shallow DOF, so maybe, using macro lenses on a 4/3 camera would keep shallow DOF, without the need for a 1.2 max aperture lens.

I have a Nex-3 which has 1.5X crop factor. I favor the Minolta MC lenses, which would also be great on the EP2. I really like the 16mm F2.8, 21mm F2.8, 35mm F1.8, 50mm F1.2, 85mm F1.7 and 100mm F2.8. So I have the whole MC Rokkor set. Wonderful wonderful glass.

Where do you find the m4/3d adapter for Minolta MC (and MD) lenses? I'd love to use my Minolta SLR glass on my EPL-1, but haven't found an adapter yet.

Hong Kong for around 10-15$. search for .....Minolta MD MC lens to Micro 4/3 Adapter EP-1 GF1 G1 GH1

There is some amazing C-mount glass around. If you think about it, this glass had to be as good as it can be--because in a cinema, the image is projected so large that low image quality would be obvious. Most 25mm lenses in C-mount will vignette, but longer lengths are fine. I've been very pleased with results from the Fujinon C-mount lenses.

Yes, I know. I need to get such an adapter. So far, my two M 4/3 adapters work well. Photos are very sharp.

2. Zuiko 24mm 1:2
3. Hexanon AR 35mm 1:2
4. Rokkor MC 35mm 1:1.8
5. Rokkor 58mm 1:1.2

I highly recommend the Canon nFD 50/1.2L. I used it on my NEX-3. Feel so good and well balanced on the tiny NEX-3. It's much smaller than the modern EF50L. And it's the best 50mm lens I've ever owned (I still have 10+ lenses around the 50mm focal length).

I tried last weekend the Summicron-C 40mm lens. It is awesome. I mean, you really "see" the sharpness in each image just pop out.

The Canon FD 35/2 "Chrome Nose" (chrome filter ring) is the best 35 I've owned, from any company. If I still owned it, it would be sufficent reason to buy a u4/3 camera in itself.

Even for the old FD 35/2, there are several versions. Is yours the SSC version (not the nFD SSC)? Or the even older ones with radioactive glasses?
