So I thought if start a channel on youtube to post my walks and FPV shooting, with results of course.

Ive found it quite constructive for me and will likely keep doing it even if not too many people like it. I see something different every time I watch it. I like that aspect of it.

Anyways, quick post. I hope some of you enjoy the aspect of it.

Interesting idea. Perhaps it will start a fad and we'll see walks from different cities around the world. ?

Interesting concept. Funny to see GoPro type footage mixed with film stills.

I'd want to see a little tighter editing of the motion footage. Otherwise I like the idea and look forward to seeing where you go with it.

Remember.... you asked ....

Remember.... you asked ....

This is an interesting concept and you should continue to develop it.
Take the following with a few grains of salt and a glass of water ....

I recommend:
edit edit edit .... video clips of your still camera blocking the GoPro line of sight?
video clips of stairs? of the ground? I think you could cut 40% out of this video and make it better. Don't make the viewer feel that he's watching a "core dump" - stuff that you have not taken the time to edit.

The effect of a still frame ending a video clip (of the same scene) is very nice.

FWIW, I once video'd an entire vacation walking around holding a camcorder. I thought it would "be like being there all over again" ..... it was incredibly AWFUL. You must cut whatever does not fascinate the viewer.

Totally can see that. I appreciate the criticism.

I had a hard time deciding whether to just cut the footage from each shot with 10 second handles or to include the whole process that went into a shot. I was conflicted because a tigher cut might take away from the "environment" or ambiance of wading through a large group. I wanted to show missed opportunities or moments. Later on in the video I ended up running the clips a little longer mostly because some of the shots, especially the kid threading the needle through the building needed time. I want to show how much time it takes to wait for the decisive moment or how much time it takes to set up a shot. I feel like that type of pacing could be beneficial for me and others.

I'll keep that in mind for future videos though! Thanks for the feedback thus far
