I didn't get a chance to load up a fsu camera & even though I couldn't find the original rules on the first Red Oktober in the ICCD flickr group. Red Oktober was more set up to use fsu lenses on any camera body including digital. May 1st was set up to use fsu body & lenses. So I'm going to cheat.
I have an unfinished roll of Arista EDU 100 in my Bessa R & a much neglected I26m 52/2.8 that came with a Fed 2 paper weight that is now in the hands of Phil awaiting surgery
So I want to shoot that & perhaps my other fsu lenses like my Industar 50/3.5. That is if OK.

Lots of fun scenes in this thread.
Question for you FSU folks. Why is it bad to have set the shutter speed by mistake without cocking the shutter, specifically on a FED 5.

Does long expired (1970) Svema film count, even if it was exposed in a West German camera?

The way I set up Red Oktober on Flickr was it could be any combination of lens/body, as long as one of them was FSU. So, whether you mount a Jupiter on a Sony, or a Vivitar on your Zenit, either one would do.
However, just using an FSU finder does not qualify, as it does not control the photo taking process like a lens or camera body does.

Yes, as it is part of the photo capture process.

As soon as my D76 is delivered, I will process the roll and post the results.

I 26m 52/2.8 on Arista EDU 100. I think the softness is more the Epson V500 scanner than the lens. I'm pleased with the lens.
One more from the I-26. Not sure it handles very bright sunlight too well. Had to bump the shadow detail a tad.

October is ending tonight and I'm still not done with my roll, so here is a pic from the previous roll. So it might have been taken in September! Zorki 4, Jupiter-12.
