Red Oktober

Hi,

It saves having to type "old" in front of "USSR" and adds a little more confusion to life and so on.

Regards, David

It also automatically provides much fodder for discussion almost at the level of digital versus film. Identifying a camera by name doesn't generate near the religious fever. :D :D

I have a Helios 44M-7 2.0/58mm and a Mir 24M 2.0/35mm lens on the way and they should check in before October has passed...:rolleyes: I'm game.

Ah darn, my kiev4a is still broken. i really need to get another FSU camera though haha

Edit just remembered i have a helios 44-2 lol, i will be using that for this red oktober

Yeah, remember an FSU lens can be mounted on any compatible or adapter equipped camera, film or digital. There are also some Nikon F mount FSU lenses.

At the moment all F.S.U. R.F. cams are in use: 2x Zorki-6, FED-3, Kiev-4AM and soon a Kiev-6C (roll film).

Here the trees are already colored in Red. ;)

Films to use: Kodak 5222 Double-X, Foma Retropan 320 Soft, 120 roll film Reala 100 (Fuji) yeaah a last 5 pack! Agfa Optima 400 (expired) and still to go 85 films, Fuji Superia 100. (A lost stock at the Fuji plant in Tilburg). I made myself already a member on Flickr.

Oh I just dusted off the FSU stuff in order to sell the lot.....one of these is the (in)famous Russar (yes with orig viewfinder)....

Anyway last months I started to use medium format more and more and therefore selling most of the 35mm stuff

The same type Russar (+) which is sold new at Lomography in messing instead of aluminium and LTM-M adapter?
