Thanks for the heads up on the J-12 and the Contax. My IIIa body is being CLA'd and in the meantime I have acquired a J-12 which has to be one of my favourite lenses(I have been using it for the past month in LTM with the Zorkis) . I was looking forward to putting it onto the Contax, but will have to stay with the Kievs. The rear element is either a thing of beauty or an aberration, but I find that the lens' wide depth of field avoids having to focus - technically an OT comment I suppose?

The finder on my IIIa is quite usable, not been CLA'd. I have had two Canon's and two Leica's CLA'd to clean up foggy finders, came back crystal clear.
The J-12 will go onto a Nikon RF, but it is tight.
I do not use the Contax much, prefer the Nikon S2 finder. But I would not let go of the IIIa, it just oozes precision. The F1.5 Sonnar is an all time favorite.
