Hi everyone,

Finally fed up of trying different things to get good image quality from my Epson V600, I have decided to invest in a dedicated film scanner. I've been reading a lot of reviews and came to the conclusion that the Reflecta Proscan line of scanners seems like a good option. However, they are not available in the United States. Instead, apparently, they are rebranded by a company called Pacific Imaging, which is sold in Adorama, B&H, etc.

The one particular model I am thinking of would be the equivalent of the Reflecta Proscan 7200: http://www.filmscanner.info/en/ReflectaProScan7200.html

But the names in the Pacific Imaging confuse me. Does anyone know which model it is supposed to be? There are the following:

- Pacific Image Prime-Film 7200U (nowhere does it say it has ICE technology). $229
- Pacific Image PrimeFilm XE (scanning resolution of 10,000dpi???). $349
- Pacific Image Prime-Film 7250U (I think this is the rebranded Reflecta Crystal Scan 7200, a lower quality scanner). $219

The pricing also makes it even more puzzling.

Does anyone have any experience with these scanners in the US?

Thank you for any information you might provide to help me clarify this before I make my purchase :)
