Beautiful shots. A reminder that even though each successive M is better (something perhaps not true of film M's), that the M8 is still an amazingly capable camera that is a joy to use and produces images as good as any camera (within its limits - and there are many!)
I will be happy to use mine until it dies or I decide to treat myself.
One of the best parts of having an M8 now is that as it depreciates in value - I'm less concerned about it getting stolen or damaged when I'm out. Something that I'd be acutely aware of with the new M.

Thanks.
Yes the M8 was great for it's "day" but looking back through some images shot at 160iso are pretty damn good - more sharpness and detail than any Nikon or Canon I've used. After 640iso things got a bit wonky.

I love my M8 too. Passed on the M9, but thinking long and hard about the new M.

I have both the M8 and M9P and the M8 still goes with me regularly. Don't get me wrong, I really like the M9P, but there's just something about the M8... and I seldom shoot above ISO 320 anyway.

I don't know any better, but to me the M8.2 is perfect as long as you don't go above 320.

Really bad, I mean BAD framelines. Pathetic framelines. But with a 28mm lens, the M8 suddenly becomes perfect! So that's how I use it and I couldn't ask for more.
M8 paired to my 28 cron or 24 lux and M9 paired yo my 50 lux.
