Remember that $1 e00vs deal?

Several weeks ago someone here pointed out this $1 kodak E100VS deal from I think Calumet. Several of us ordered it, although many of us have never used the film before.

So for those of you first time to it.. have you had a chance to use it, and what were your results like?

I went through two rolls last weekend. I discovered it's easy to blow highlights and it has this very specific look, almost like a magazine result. To be effective, subject needs to have color otherwise its nothing special. But I like the results 🙂

Looks good, as the indicator says, very saturated.

I had already tried 100VS previously, during a visit to an abandoned middle ages castle near France.

The saturated colors coming from that overcast day blown off my socks, a kind of very special and natural saturation, I liked it a lot.

I specially like 1, 3 and 13, but to be honest, the scans don't do justice AT ALL to the projected slides or the prints. A 20x30cm of #13 hangs on my room.

wow.. I really like the stables (#5 I think), very well done! I'm going to stick with this film for a little, I still have about a dozen rolls left, hahah. But I need to find a better place to develop them because my other lab left a bunch of spots and bubbles all over the slides 🙁
