Remote Release for X1|X2??

Is there a remote shutter release that works with the X1?

Not really wanting to use the Kiwi Cable Release adapter, can there be a better way?

Maybe something with an intrevalometer?

Can't help you sorry, as much as I'd like to. The old X1 I have just seems to be a dead end with newer technology. Plus I hate it when you post and nobody answers.

However my heart skipped a beat slightly as I was typing this. I dug out my X1, and looked, it has a "mini-USB" port next to the HDMI port. Aha I thought, I can plug my remote/intervalometer into there. So I tried it, and while it does indeed fit, when I trip the remote release, nothing happens with the camera, sorry.

T'was a grand idea while I had it.

Aww, better dig that X1 out more often! I really enjoy using mine.

Looks like im stuck with the Kiwi Adaptet after all.
