Hi everyone,
I (like all of us) have some old gear. A few items need the "paint" in the numbers freshened up a bit.

These are the engraved numbers on, in my case, a Lieca meter. What to use?
The reader disc will rotate under a 2nd top disc so some way to keep the paint from scratching off & spearing all over high heaven would be cool.

Thanks~
Steve

If the numbers are looking faded but otherwise complete, a good clean can make all the difference. I use a non-alcoholic spectacles cleaner. I have found some numbers get removed by cleaners with alcohol in them.

If cleaning doesn't help then use a laquer stick (a stick of paint basically) to fill in the numbers. You can get them from Micro Tools. Here's a link to the white one but they do other colors as well. http://www.micro-tools.com/store/P-L51120/Lacquerstik-Paintstick-White.aspx
