Dear forum,
A friend of mine has an olive Bessa R2 whose painting has heavily worn out both on top and bottom plates. Do you know if it is possible to repaint it or if there is a dedicated kit to do it ?
Yours truly 🙂

Don't use the spray paints designed for plastic toy models. I tried using a 'Tamiya' semi-gloss black spray paint on my Kiev 4's chrome parts. The results look good but its chips easily. In the end I had to take it off. I discovered that I could use a slightly rough sponge and scrub off the paint. takes a while though! Most of the black paint is now gone. I'm going to get nail polish remover to see if i can get the remaining bits to come off. In scrubbing the paint off, it left tiny scratches on the satin finish of the chrome. Will attempt spray on enamel paint next. Sigh, should have just left if as it was to begin with.
