Last sunday, I broke my kiev
, I opened it and saw that it was an old old old ribbon that died, totally rotten after 40 years . Ijust have to find somthing to replace it and It should be okay, some pictures with my cellphone
I abided kiev survival site, it was quite okay and easy

I have rather annoyingly misplaced the ribbon I got from alex-photo, and the 3 spares cameras I also got from him. I may yet have to resort to buying some more, I want to give that Kiev some use

Peter,
The key word to dealing with Kievs in all aspects is : patience.
Have a non Kiev camera for daily use, and deal with your Kiev with patience. At some point, by natural evolution, the Kiev will become your main and most palatable camera. But it takes time.
Cheers,
Ruben
