Hi Folks,

I have a Bronica RF645 with a vertically misaligned rangefinder and a broken winder (you wind the film and it keeps winding past 1, no stops). Tamron says they will fix it probably for $190. Any other options out there, or should I just bite the bullet? Thanks....John.

Well Tamron owns Bronica for some years now

So assume they have savvy Bronica techs and the parts supply. Plus, the price sounds quite reasonable for what's being done. I'm sure they will check out the camera for other issues. Ask them if that includes any kind of CLA or shutter check in the price.

Without the repair, the camera, 65mm lens, and Bronica flash is costing me $300, so another $190 for the repair still puts me ahead of the curve. It is a beautiful camera. I'll send it to Tamron tomorrow morning. Thanks.

Hi, I've got the same problem with mine(2006)!I asked to tamron where i could send it for repair and the gave mae and adress here in Italy. After phoning them i sent the caera for mis aligment of RF,WINDING PROBLEM.within 8/10 days I've got my rf645 back. They repaired it,checked all the camera, cleaned the VF and i spend 60 or 80 euro shipping included.since then the camera is working flawessy.😉
