Bought nice rangefinder 6x6 camera. It's an Chinese camera: Seagull. Now try to repair the finder of the Seagul 203. The rangefinder contains an halfway mirror . That mirror is worn out. Size is 19 x 12.5 mm . Where can I buy an replacement halfway mirror ? Any help is useful .

From ebay a seller named nobbysparrow sells halfway mirrors for screw-mount Leicas. Perhaps he´s willing to cut it to other sizes as well. Worth asking, i think.

Thank I found these seller on ebay , and send him an message for the mirror I need.
I don’t know if the name I use is correct. Can also be: Half-silvered mirror ? Semi-transparent mirror ? Beam Splitter ?

Edmund Scientific use to sell beam splitter mirrors, maybe they still do, that you can use for your RF repair. ( catalog no. 3043359 with 50/50 reflectivity/transmission.)

Surplusshed often has beam splitters for sale on their site. Be sure to check the dimensions and thickness of the material and that it has 50% transmission.
A shop where they make custom picture frames can cut it down to the right size for you.

Did search on ebay and found something interesting. Buying beamsplitter is not the problem. Buy the right one at reasonable price is an challenge.

AND that it is not monochromatic! The majority of surplus beamsplitters are from laser applications, and are monochromatic, i.e. they let only one colour pass, so that the reflection is the complement - most are green/pink or blue/orange. And that is not a hue, but as vivid as can be...

QuioptiQ (the distribution sister of Linos/Rodenstock) has a online store for optical components, too.
