Hi,
Though I have bonded quite tightly with my 1932 Leica II, its vulcanite's bond to the camera has recently become much looser and pieces of it are flaking off and falling...
I am thus beginning to think of replacing the vulcanite and was wondering if I could get some advice as to which replacement "vulcanite" would look and feel the most as the original and where to get it. Pictures on the internet can be quite misleading...
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Dear MadNBad,
Thank you for your prompt answer. Do you know which of the different coverings offered resembles the original vulcanite the most?

The only kits I have purchased from them were for a couple of Nikkormat's. One was stingray leather, not cheap but offered a lot of grip. The descriptions on their site are fairly accurate and they respond to correspondence quickly. I'm sure you're going to get a few more suggestions.
