Just received an externally fine Zorki 1 with a nice looking I-22, but on inspection of the shutter the curtains are completely shot. The short curtain appears to have warped to its roller during storage and bulges alarmingly, and the backing on both has become brittle and flaked off in a way that fabric paint seems unlikely to help. Naturally, the speeds are completely off too. So, I've got to put new shutters in.
Jay's site has a good tutorial on the process, but I need to acquire new curtains, either pre-made or made by me from materials. Some Russian sellers on eBay have premade Zorki curtains, and micro-tools and Aki-Asahi have the necessary materials, but I was wondering if there are any other sources I should be aware of, especially for premade curtains. Ideally, a domestic (US) or EU source would be preferred as I'm not really in the mood to deal with the Russian post office right now. Let me know of any alternatives I may have missed.
