Replacing a LCD screen and breaking copper wires in process.

Both my daughters have Samsung cameras, the one an ES 55 and the other a L100- both broke, probably because someone stepped on them. The LCD screen of the ES 55 broke and the lens does not move properly in the L100. I thought of combining the two for my son, but saw that the parts don't match.
I planned to fix the LCD screen of the ES55. Although cracked, it lit up when starting the camera.
I ordered a new screen and by using too much force, I broke two small wires on the camera. Afterwards no screen lit up, not even the old one.

Where are the broken wires.. I couldn't find them in the photos?

Ditto.

I replaced the LCD on my Sony, but after getting the back off it was just a matter of getting the screen out of its holder and unplug the wire strap, then replace it. Did your wires break mid wire or pull from a solder joint? You might be able to resolder it yourself, or perhaps better, ask an experienced friend if you aren't comfortable at soldering.

Hopefully someone else can offer good advice.
