replacing light seals

I'm sure this has been posted before so i'm just looking for a link to it on this website or somewhere else... how can i replace the light seals in my GSN manually?

I want to shoot a roll this weekend before i'll be able to replace the seals. the gum is pretty weak and i see some residue on the film door, but will it really affect the exposure of my pictures? could i tape up the back door with black tape, like i do wen i tape the door of my Bolex up?

Not exposure, but you could get some light leaks. Give it shot with a test roll. It depends how bad they are and if the door will close properly. Dont blame you for being anxious, been there.

For a quick fix to my GSN, I used a piece of rubber that you see in mouse pads to replace the old light seals. Never had any problem.
