I think I got it..........

I won a IIa on eBay today then bought a IIIc from KEH.:D

I've had a big C since junior high with all 3 lens..
I was just never that cool in Jr High ...or HS. It's so cool that you held on to it!!

BTW, I've been to the piney woods. It's beautiful up there and the fresh air is so nice!

This one was a birthday gift from my grandparents. I'd never get rid of it..

I love it too and go back often.

"......you can consider yourself a serious collector if you have at least 10...."

I read that and thoght "gee they are rather candid about the criteria...

And what about the "Stuttgarter Leica" the IIIS?

Welcome to the club!
@ Brian: Thanks for spoiling it! I thought the Retina II (122) or the Retina I 167 were the hen's teeth ;o9
best regards

Your grandparents really knew how to choose a lasting (and beautiful) gift! My grandfather gave a Kodak Dualflex II that he found on the side of the road to my mom. She gave it to me and I still have it. It's really dirty but I should test to see if works.
