Hi All,
I could use some help with my new Retina ii purchase. At first the shutter button seemed stuck but when I loaded film it took one picture. The shutter button is now all the way down and won’t come back up, turning the film wind knob just turns past the next picture, and now I can’t even close the lens back up. Also I read there was a button to un-stick the shutter but don’t see it. Can anyone help with what I’m doing wrong?

I have a IIa and there is a lever at the 11 o'Clock position to fire the shutter. Not sure if the II is the same configuration.
Also, on my IIa, the lens has to be rotated back to infinity to close/collapse the clam-shell.
Hope this helps.

Also, if you don't know about it, Chris Sherlock's repair page has lots of good Retina info: https://retinarescue.com/

Thanks, I did set the lens to infinity but there is a stiffness in the mechanism and it doesn’t want to collapse like normal. Also, I did check out Chris’ site but couldn’t find a fix for my problem. Any other thoughts?
