Retirement

If you get out of the NW, I can offer a place to stay in the SW (winter tour?). I have been retired for 8 years and ride a BMW GS. And traveling to another country and renting a bike is a great way to explore. Laos, Philippines, and Guatemala were greatdestinations. Am debating a motorcycle tour of India but the traffic scares me.

Retirement is great.

EAT Your Hearts out guys (and gals) . Quite the ride to get here and back in the same day.
(that's some understatement !) This retirement thing just gets better and better ! Peter

ps: taken with my WeltaWeltur on FP4+

Keep it going Guzzi Man!
As a recently retired guy and motorbike owner I know the feeling...

^^^ Yes it is a Moto-Guzzi , originally it was a LeMans 2 , however , it's morphed quite
a bit since then . My body just won't take on the contortions necessary to get on a stock
LeMans with those clip on handlebars ,etc . But it's proven to be quite dependable, as I've now got over 240K kilometers on it.
It's aged better than I have. :D

Yeah, yeah, yeah I'm so happy for you! Enjoy retirement , there is nothing like it.
I 've been now almost 20 years next February. It's been grand. Wish I rode a motorcycle so I could enjoy trekking. You enjoy yours and your trips.

Just retired Sept 1st! Ordered a sidecar for my R1200RT and am waiting for it to arrive, any day now. Sold my Guzzi hack last year (way too many miles) and really missed having a Hack. Soon as the new one gets installed I'm headed for LA.

I wish for you to enjoy your retirement for many years!
I used to ride a BSA Victor a lot, but got tired of cars jutting towards me several times a day.
I am "semi-retired" in that I work at home, building & repairing guitars without commissions, same as I would be doing if I were "fully retired". I would like to keel over with tools in my hands, if the choice were mine.
My wife & I are not huge travelers, but do like day to week-long trips, as long as an airline is not a part of it.

And I thought the custom yellow 2 wheeler got peoples attention ! It's quite the gas to ride around on . Got this feeling though at 66 this may be my last motorcycle project . I can finally get a full nights sleep , it was a process getting a license for this in B.C. Peter

That could have been used in one of the Mad Max movies. It's kind of like a Morgan with a bad attitude.

Keep on rolling!
