So I was wondering (being not american) what kind of famous big American department store Camera (kits?) have you all encountered?
I find these somewhat fascinating, As many of these Cameras were used by ordinary people, Just taking pictures of their lives.
Here's a set I picked up for next to nothing from Bucks County, PA.
The Flash and two of the lenses are a Kmart brand, "Focal".

I don't have photos of them, but I have a Montgomery Wards am551 which is a rebranded Konica Auto S2, and a Sears 35rf which is a rebranded Ricoh 500RF.

My main SLR was a Sears, until it decided to lock up its mirror. Sears KS-2, which is a rebadged Ricoh XR-7, if memory serves. The only Sears-branded lens I have is a 135/2.8 made in Korea, no idea by whom.
