What surprised me was that yesterday during the demolition the very same truck came by again, with another similar steel fabrication, and beeped and waved at the crew clearing up the mess he'd caused last week!

Well "Schadenfreude" is a word that makes so many German speaking persons rather happy because after the huge influx of Anglo-American words into their language there is proof that German words are accepted into the English language (Hinterland, Leitmotv, Schmalz, Mensch - via Yiddish, Dreck, Blitz etc.)
