Getting ready to ditch all my gear other than Leica M8/9 and my X-pro1 I´m searching for options when it comes to optics.

Using M-glass is very nice and takes care of most situations, but I will probably add a 18-55 2.8-4.0 quite soon.

Would really like to be able to plan on adding a 10-24 2.8 as well, but there is the problem with directions of the aperture ring...

For me it is a real necessity to keep to what I am used with after 20+ years with Leica M, as well as 3-4 years on Canon FD before that.

Its just impossible for me to get used to any other focus or aperture-direction than this, it is really hard-wired in my brain...

The focus-direction is fortunately only a setting, but it seems it is not possible to alter the direction for the aperture ring?

I will also probably look into any possibilities for reversing the direction for the fixes X-lenses, although that might be too impractical of course...

Anyone with the same dilemma or wish?

...seems my only options for getting this + AF are the 16-55 and 27mm - thats a downer!

Would anyone know whether it is possible to use the command wheel on the back for setting the aperture even when there is a dedicated aperture ring?

Really hope this will be part of a later update, cannot see that its covered yet...
