The C33 might have a very similar model name to the much more famous Argus C3, but the cameras are both quite different. The C33 has a number of significant improvements to the original C3:
A much better shutter capable of speeds from 1 second to 1/300, a large and bright coincident image rangefinder, and much simpler bayonet interchangeable lens mount, an integrated frame counter, double exposure prevention, and a few others.
Yet, despite these advancements, Argus still felt it necessary to retain the brick like shape of the C3. Where the original brick was charming and utilitarian when it was originally designed in 1938, this brick just looks goofy! Read my review to find out what it's like to use and see a couple of sample photos shot with one.
