Just got this eBay purchase in the mail today and it seems in fine condition except for a slight problem with the rangefinder adjustment. When the lens is set to infiinity, the rangefinder image is not quite horizontally aligned, just a smidge off.
Does anybody have any experience with what's involved in adjusting the rangefinder on this camera? If not, can you suggest some resources I can go check? Having never done this kind of thing before, I wouldn't mind some advice before I dive in and truly make a mess of things. Oh, and I should mention I don't mind making a test case out of this camera, as I have many more to play with and I haven't developed an emotional attachment to this camera yet

The RF adjustment is one in front covered by the leatherette under the RF window, the other one is the mirror the 45 degree semi-transparence mirror is fixed in place by two or four spring move the mirror back and forth to adjust the FR, I can not remember which one is adjust the vertical and horizontal, try to peel the leatherette adjust first. regards

RF adjustment on Rollei XF35?
Hello.
My first post.
I too have a new (to me) Rollei XF35.
The rangefinder adjustment screw (horizontal) is under the leatherette, under the viewfinder window.
The question now is; what do you adjust it to? Infinity or to where the focus is more noticeable, like a metre?
