This is a second post about my difficulty to decide about my direction with RF camera. The first one have covered technical issues and this one is about features and prices.

Looking at images in this forum my old eyes couldn't see better camera but there were better images taken with a large variety of cameras and prices. There are two difference I know about those cameras: a- some are fixed lens other can take many lenses, b- general build quality. On the quality thing I can't tell much but useful features has much meaning for me.
If we set aside number of lenses a camera can take and build quality, what are the tangible differences that made cameras more useful? Generally speaking I see used RF cameras grouped like this one 35 or 50mm lens included.
1.sub $100
2.$500 +/-20%
3.$1000 +/-20%
4.$1500 +/-20%

What I am asking is what is best /most practical camera in terms of useful features in any of these price ranges you have used. I am not interested in cameras at cost higher that $1700 and would rather stay somewhere in the middle (that is unless feature wise it will be something one can't pass)

I am not planning to stop using cameras I have and enjoy. If I can overcome issues I have with the RF I am testing now (stated in my other post), a RF camera will be an addition to be used (not collected). Your advice will be much appreciated.
