I recently came across a 34.5mm lenscap, with Nikon on the front in italics. I was hoping someone could help me - I don't think this is from an F-mount lens. Now, is there a rangefinder lens with a 34.5mm thread? The only other thing I could think of is an enlarger lens...which probably makes more sense. But I wanted to find out. Thanks!

Yep! My LTM nikkor 3.5cm/3.5 has a 34.5 mm filter thread and I have been looking for a filter for a long long time!

The 105f4.0 Rf lens has a 34.5 mm cap - though it has a Nippon Kogaku logo on it. The Nikon in italics sounds like a cap from an enlarging lens, either the EL Nikkor 50f4 or the 63mm one.

Nightlight...is the filter ring "inside" the lens? If so this wouldn't fit it, but that's handy to know.
