Recently I acquire a nice wide angle lens with little sign of use, the W-Nikkor 3.5cm/2.5 deserves so much praise for its lightweight and compact built. but due to poor work from some low skilled repairman, the aperture may be shifted/ misaligned somehow (my assumption was proved as numerical designation markings were found in the inner barrel of lens, which is common stamp/ signature practice among non-official servicemans when you send a lens for CLA). Previously @underlord posted similar question in http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143322 so i would like to share my experience to whom interested, especially Vigos.
You can see the aperture does not line up when click stop at f/2.8
So let's get start to disassemble the lens, unscrew the front lens using lens opener.
Take up the distance ring by unscrewing 3 little winkles.
Remove one little screw and loosen the retention ring anticlockwisely.
Check the F/2.5 click stop is line up with the metal hook then tighten the retention ring at the bottom.
Assemble everything back, now you see the aperture click stops align with the dot. Hurray!
P.S. thanks @goliathus for some help.

Perfect! And thanks a lot for the well documented repair. That should be very helpful.

I had one that had the same problem (after I had taken it apart and incorrectly reassembled it...) An easy thing to overlook. I'd guess this happens quite often when repairmen are unfamiliar with this design.
