Hi everybody,

this year, we, the inofficial planning committee, have decided on the place already, and have narrowed down the available weekends to the following four:
  • 30 Apr/1 May
  • 14/15 May
  • 21/22 May
  • 28/29 May
I have created a Doodle poll for the date decision and have already sent invitations to everybody whose e-mail address I could get my hands on.

Everybody else is welcome to participate, please PM me your e-mail address and I will send you an invitation to the poll.

Best regards,
Georg

Trieste is an interesting town with an "austro-hungarian" feeling in the air...
End of may will travel to Germany...(Wetzlar) but middle may could be possible...let'me check about it.

Our experience from previous RFF Meetings is, that it's always good when a local person is part of the gang and has some nice ideas for sightseeing / cafés / restaurants.
Janko organized a friend from Slovenia who lives not far from Trieste. He has some local knowledge which is great.

As always the RFF Euromeet is not fully organized. But we spend time together, eat, drink, chat about gear, take photos, have fun, make new friends :)

not so many people are interested, but much better than two previous years...
for me it will be easy, 100km by car :)

Yes, well I'm hoping that more people will jump on yet... but Thomas pointed out last year that I am a hopelss optimist... :D

It looks like it will be either the 14. or the 21. I have to book a flight so I think we should close the poll in 2 or max. 3 weeks.

i think that a week more, to make it 2 weeks altogether, is more than enough for the pool an for everybody to decide...

I would real like to take part together with my wife, hopefully we manage our agenda being may a busy month for us!

A bit tricky to reach Trieste from Prague, all options are involving more than 5h (air) or 7-8h (car).

Yes, it's not exactly the center of the world, but that might also make it more interesting...

It's a 9 hour drive from Dresden, by the way... maybe we should have a car pool...?
