we know this guy. stocks old film cameras, services them, stocks film, develops...
and a very nice guy to chat with, speaks italian, german and english.
maybe sunday morning after breakfast 🙂

Sounds great. But he is not open on Sundays, so maybe Saturday? Or can you get a private "audience" with him?

OK, everybody. It's less than three weeks away now.
Do we want to settle on a place for a Friday night beer?

Who knows the city well enough to make a suggestion?

Hmmm... I know that some people would probably scoff at the idea of going to Italy and then meeting in an Irish pub... 😀

But hey, why not? Unless there are any insiders here that have a really cool location up their sleeves...? Anybody?

Just for you information from a friendly blogger I found this page interesting, Chimera di Bacco is the name of the place, unfortunately is only written in italian but at least you can see the pictures 🙂
Here is the website of the place Chimera di Bacco with Menu (english as well included) which maybe is a little expensive...but they have another place called Chimerina which could be of interest...

Another place, I think less expensive but with typical food of Trieste could be "Paolino" viale XX settembre, sorry only italian again but if you click the "traduci il blog" bottom it should translate it...

Personally I only was in Trieste one day many years ago and do not know the city at all and both me and my wife are open to any possibility !
