New York RFF Hits NYC June 28

Joe, keep in mind this is NYC. You could walk naked down the street (please don't) and not be noticed. An external viewfinder will be next to invisible.

damn, ya know, i only did it once and they're STILL talking about it.
of course i was younger and about 70 pounds lighter!
lol!

ok, i guess i have been away too long and now i'm thinking like a hick tourist.
(no offence meant to hicks anywhere😉)

deep breath, rethink...be back soon...

joe

Well, since I'll be in NYC most of next week for work and I will be able to take the afternoon off, it looks like I'll be there too.

so i packed my m classic bag...
loaded in a p along with the iv sb.

35/2 on the p & 50/1.9 collapsible on the iv sb.
28 w/ finder jammed into a lens case and the 100 in a lens pouch.

15 rolls of tri-x in a front pocket. pilot 2 in another.
leaving one pocket empty for cell phone etc.

having second thoughts about the 50.
maybe the 28 on the iv sb, 100 in a side pocket.

2 cams & 3 lenses...?

joe

i could easily live without a 50, did so for years actually.

Man, that is just stranger than a clockwork orange!

(No offense, I just wanted to use that line, modified a bit) 🙂

ok, time to get serious.

i took the 50 out of the bag.

as it now stands we have a p with 35/2 - a ivsb with 28/3.5 + finder and a 100/3.5 rolling round on the bottom of the bag.
still have 15 rolls of tri-x.

joe

yes, please DO come if you can!

i hear rover's buying lunch...🙂

but seriously folks...the more the merrier.

2 more sleeps for me and then i'll be in america!!
the land of real canollis and pastrami and bagels and street pretzles and kosher franks...oh yeah...and the last 2 generations of family.

joe

Hmmm, I was wondering what a Canadianized NY accent would sound like. I don't know if I will get to hear it with all that food in your mouth Joe. I am in for the pastrami and canolli though.

my accent has been pretty much wiped clean i think.
although there are some here who claim to be able to hear it at times. i am told it comes out when i'm angry...and i'll do my best not to speak with a mouthful.

one more sleep...
