Was wondering how many RFF members there are with in a 250 mile radius of the N.Dallas area ( Plano , Frisco) . I was contacted today by the seller of the FSU's that I purchased and was told they would be Air mailed tomorrow, so should have them in the next 10 days or so. I was hoping to be able to hook up with someone , and let them look at what I have and give me an idea of the condition of the cameras. I sure there are some quirky things within each model to look for or to test.

This is more of a talk shop and for me to listen, and learn about these cameras.

Trust me, I'm not some nut that gets on forums looking for so called friends. I take my photography very seriously. I know of one new member here that knows me and can chime in if he wants, OC. He knows more about me than I do of him .

I Moderate on Fred Miranda. com . and contribute on Shutterfreaks.com. and Texas Photoforum .com .

I am in OKC just to your north. Don't know about travel at this moment in time. Next month may be better. Too much water to deal with right now. Luckily, none of it is in my house!!!!!!

I live a bit south of you (H-Town) and was in your area Thursday, I really could not help out in the FSU dept. but welcome to the forum. I checked out your links, some great animal pics there.

Hi Tom,

I'm in Dallas and it's always a treat to meet people who likes manual cameras (it's kinda rare around here :)

I have several FSU cameras but by no means an expert, just like to use them.

Will be glad to meet for a camera chat.

I can't easily get to Dallas but do you really mean the past tense there, Tom?
I can see that you're a busy person but stick around a while?

Hi Todd, I get down that way usually twice a year, and hook up with some friends , we shoot or digital stuff mostly. It's nice to know there are so many close by.

I'm in Richardson. You'll find me on texasphotoforum as ducky244. I'm not very active there either.
I have used a few FSUs but I'm down to one now and really don't like using film.
PM me either place if a meet is pending.
George

Hi George, I graduated from Richardson High in 76, I'vs know that area since 1962 , Arapaho road was dirt back then and we had a big circle at coit and beltline .

Thanks for the heads up .
