Do we still have a way to access RFF on a smartphone (Iphone specifically)? Tapatalk? Can someone bring me up to date on this?:)

Mobile browsers still work somewhat. Tried Tapatalk but decided it's not for me (features missing compared to real website).

I have the Chrome browser on my Iphone 6 and turn my phone to landscape orientation then just come to RFf through the browser. The screen is just big enough for me to see posts well enough to read if I zoom in so that just the main body of the post fills my screen--this does cut off the left edge of the screen just after the poster's info, avatar, etc are and while this works ok for text, looking at any photos here is not very good on the small screen.

It works just fine on my phone in the conventional portrait mode (holding the phone as you would to talk on it). On phones, place two fingers in the center and spread then out top to bottom to make the image and type larger. You will have to scroll back and forth to read things, but at least that way you won't have to squint to read little bitty type.

I use free Tapatalk on iPhone 6 but just for reading and text posting.
There is a useful menu to see posts order by most most recent : RFF -> Discussions -> Timeline.
Tapatalk works in landscape or portrait. Displays RFF gallery photos or embedded Safari links. Can also launch Flickr links if you don’t mind a few button presses.
You don’t have to sign up for a Tapatalk account, just use your RFF account.

I use Firefox on the Android and this and almost all other sites work just fine.

The current RFF software was released after the first iPhone, over ten years ago. In internet age, it's a dinosaur... :)

The new version under development (IP Board-based) has an actual mobile interface.

I started with the home page then hit the square with the up arrow and choose add to home screen. Then when I want to check the site I click and open like I open an app.
