Oleg,It's a lie...
I've never did such replacing, all repaired Contaxes have an original parts only. Yes, I use Arsenal ribbon, but never replaced Contax part by Kiev one.
I didn't state that you were using some Kiev shutter boxes without telling this to your customers. We all know that sometimes the original Contax shutters are very worn and that it's better to salvage the camera by using a clean and working Kiev shutter box than throwing the camera away. Myself, I fitted a NOS Kiev beamsplitter prism in my otherwise mint 1938 Contax II because the original Zeiss prism was suffering from heavy balsam separation and had become quite useless.
The same with the lower curtain spring roller drum. Many of the original Zeiss ones are broken and using some Kiev drums is the only way to salvage the camera.
Using some Arsenal ribbon in an original Contax shutter requires some very delicate and quite time-consuming filing down and adjusting job.
Well, congrats for doing this.
