Ricoh GR-D (I,II,III,IV): Post your photos!

Y'all keep getting good colors and tones out of the camera. I am easily confused by what I see on the LCD vs the finished product.

For me, the OOC colors aren't anything to write home about. I know a lot of people love the black and white straight out of camera, but I can't seem to grasp the right blend of settings to get usable JPEGS without some tweaking, color correction, etc. The images look very 'digital' to me, if that makes sense.

Sometimes I like the results in certain situations, but when things go wrong they seem to really go wrong. I really just need to spend more time developing my LR skills. The camera is great. I have it with me more than any other camera I've ever owned. I just need to work at pulling more out of it.

Cheers,

It took me a few months of really tinkering with the cameras and exploring post processing options before I could really grasp exactly how to handle the images from my Ricoh. I'm now on my second GRDIII after having sold the first and I'm hanging on to it for dear life. 🙂

They're called stag beetles.
Pretty uncommon and rarely to be seen, at least here.

I won't touch them, but I'm not into bugs and spider anyway 😉
